LudusPro has organized the qualifiers for Asian Football Gaming Championship 2017 (AFGC) and 2 gamers were selected to represent India at Bangkok and organised online qualifiers for Campus Game Fest(CGF) 2017, which was a huge event organized by the Singapore Government, The winner represented India at the main event. Also, the Top 8 were given prizes worth Rs. 25,000. Apart from International qualifiers, LudusPro has been actively organising online and offline tournaments for games such as FIFA, CS:GO, DOTA 2, Clash Royale, Ludo, 8 Ball Pool across console, PC and mobile platforms. The Tour of India Series for FIFA 18 has been organised across cities like Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai with a combined prize pool of 1.2Lakhs including cash and goodies/vouchers from Game X Change. LudusPro has also been hosting tournaments during the fest for colleges like Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Birla Institute of Technology (BITS), Goa and Hyderabad campus and M.S Ramaiah Medical College (MSRMC).
With the global eSports market revenue expected to reach 1.65 billion U.S. dollars in 2020. The eSports industry is expected to grow rapidly in the coming years. With the trend of gaming and eSports becoming fairly popular and mainstream globally, India is still in its nascent years with a huge potential to get worldwide recognition and we intend to do the best we can working with brands like Sony Playstation India, Game X Change, Redbull to create an ecosystem that lets our players compete on a global stage.
With a lot of gamer’s participating across different tournaments – online and offline, majority of the participants and gamers belong to the age group of 18-25 on an average.
